Troubadour Music Studio was founded in 2024 by Kristy Bissell, Owner and Voice Teacher, during a season of profound change. What began in a year of personal rebuilding became the foundation for something steady, intentional, and deeply rooted in music.

Historically, a troubadour was a traveling musician — a singer of love, of longing, of devotion, of the full spectrum of human experience. At its heart, the word represents storytelling through song.

This studio was created from the belief that music meets us exactly where we are — in joy, in uncertainty, in growth, and in transition. Sometimes the most meaningful things are built when we decide to begin again.

Our mission, above all else, is to bring music into your life — whether for the very first time or as a return to something you’ve missed. We believe every person has a voice, and every voice deserves space, guidance, and care.
